Esco Tool has introduced a new cold cutting clamshell style split-frame machine that clamps rigidly to a pipe and is easy to setup with modular indexable tooling and provides vibration-free operation.

The Esco COHOG® Split Frame Machine features a robust stationary ring machined from 7075 aluminum alloy that is hard coated and supports a custom steel forged, heat-treated, and nickel-plated rotating ring. Easy to setup using indexable tooling, the machine squares itself to the pipe with clamps that each accommodate four different pipe sizes using one set of pads.

Incorporating a one-piece module that mounts to the tool slide and holds a pre-angled bit of 30º, 37-1/2º, or custom angles, the Esco COHOG® Split Frame Machine uses an indexed trip mechanism which permits precise alignment and quick attachment without shims or guesswork. Motor options include pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric power.
