SPRINGFIELD — Gov. Charlie Baker said he is confident the state’s slow, methodical approach to finding a long-term solution to the troubled Roderick L. Ireland Courthouse is correct, while some have called for it to be faster.

Speaking during a visit to Springfield on Tuesday, Baker said the progress appears to be slow from the outside, but the state Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is properly following an established process.
